MONTGOMERY, Ala.–In accordance with the City of Montgomery and the Emergency Management Agency’s cold weather plan (i.e., to provide a warming center when temperatures are forecast to be below 32 degrees for 4 hours or more), on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 7:00pm to 7:00am, Montgomery will activate it’s Warming Center, located at The Crump Center (1751 Cong W L Dickinson Drive). Residents in need of shelter are welcomed during this time. No pets allowed inside the warming center.

The M Transit will operate on a modified schedule, Monday evening, November 10, 2025, and Tuesday morning, November 11, to assist those who need transportation to and from the warming center. Note there will be no transit charge during these times for transport to and from the Crump Center.
- Monday evening, November 10, 2025, the M Transit Route 8 (Gunter Park/East Dale Mall) bus will depart the Downtown Intermodal Center (Outbound) at 7:00 PM and arrive at the Crump Center at about 7:15 PM.
- Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025, the M Transit Route 8 (Gunter Park/East Dale Mall) bus will depart the Downtown Intermodal Center (Outbound) at 5:30 AM and arrive at the Crump Center at about 5:45 AM.
- Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025, the M Transit Route 8 (Gunter Park/East Dale Mall) bus will return (Inbound) to the Crump Center at about 6:30 AM and arrive at the Downtown Intermodal Center at 7:00 AM.
- Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025, the M Transit Route 8 (Gunter Park/East Dale Mall) bus will depart the Downtown Intermodal Center (Outbound) at 7:00 AM and arrive at the Crump Center at about 7:15 AM.
- Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025, the M Transit Route 8 (Gunter Park/East Dale Mall) bus will return (Inbound) to the Crump Center at about 8:15 AM and arrive at the Downtown Intermodal Center at 8:30 AM
