SISTAS cancer support groups improve the coping ability and quality of life of cancer survivors, providing a safe haven where experiences can be shared and personal issues can be addressed in a relaxed, confidential, and culturally-sensitive environment.

The first annual Interfaith Festival, organized by Interfaith Montgomery and hosted by the East Montgomery Islamic Center, will feature public opportunities for community service and community engagement.
