SELMA, Ala.–Johnny Moss, III was sworn in as mayor of Selma Monday, along with members of the city council.
The mayor called for everyone to work together for the betterment of the city.
“Even if your vote was cast for someone else, I believe God still calls us to walk this road together because the mission to rebuild Selma belongs to all of us,” said Moss.
The Selma School Board was expected to be sworn in Tuesday at 5 at the Selma High School Media Center.
