MONTGOMERY, AL – In accordance with the City of Montgomery and the Emergency Management Agency’s cold weather plan (i.e., to provide a warming center when temperatures are forecast to be below 32 degrees for 4 hours or more), the City of Montgomery will activate it’s Warming Center, located at The Crump Center (1751 Cong W L Dickinson Drive) tonight, Thursday, February 5, 2026, starting at 7pm and will close tomorrow, morning by 7am. Residents in need of shelter from the cold weather are welcome during these times. No pets are allowed inside the warming center.
The City of Montgomery works with the M Transit System for bus service along Route 8 (Gunter Park/East Dale Mall) and will post the schedule at the Warming Center and on the Montgomery City/County Emergency Management Agency’s Facebook page.
