The 13th Annual Swingin’ Fore Kids Golf tournament benefiting Child Protect, CAC is a premier golf event, raises funds to directly benefit children who have been victims of alleged child abuse.
Montgomery, AL— August 15, 2023 — The 13 th Annual Swingin’ Fore Kids Golf tournament benefitting Child
Protect, Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) will be held on Friday, November 3 at the beautiful Robert Trent Jones Golf
Trail at Capitol Hill. The luncheon will begin at 11:00 am with a 12:00 pm shotgun start and an awards reception
following play.
“We are excited to welcome long-time and new sponsors at this year’s event,” said Kristin Byrd, Executive
Director, Child Protect, CAC. “The annual golf tournament is a major fundraising event for Child Protect, directly
benefiting children who have been victims of alleged child abuse by funding the child-friendly facility where forensic
interviews and counseling are done,” Byrd said.
Hundreds of players, sponsors and volunteers take part in the premier fundraiser each year, making for one of the
area’s most anticipated events. With putting contests, hole-in-one prizes, and exciting awards for the top teams,
participants are sure to have a great day!
