Award winning Gospel choir has joined forces with Phillip Bryant, CEO & Founder of Writerz Blok Music Group, as they announce the signing of celebrated gospel singer and choir Nadja Scott and DA. With vocal training since childhood, Scott has cultivated and intertwined her classical background with traditional gospel choir arrangements. Scott, who hails from Baltimore facilitated as a director of the Johns Hopkins University Gospel Choir at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland from 2005-2008. With several years of training from the Peabody Conservatory of music, Scott studied vocal performance with a concentration in classical soprano, choral arts, and orchestration.

“From the moment I heard Nadja Scott and DA, I knew they had something special. I knew I had to bring the choir to WB. They are going to change the genre. They are amazing and I’m honored to have them,” states Phillip Bryant.

Scott has shared the stage with several national and international artists such as Patti LabelleAmos Saint JeanMarvin SappDonnie McClurkinShirley CaesarFred Hammond and many others.

In 2016, Nadja Scott & DA released their EP titled Forever Follow, which is available on all digital outlets today. Scott & DA garnered over hundreds of thousands streams across all digital platforms. The invigorating track titled “Call On Jesus” features Courtney Dyson & The Locked Band, which has created a frenzy of views via YouTube. In 2015 Scott & DA won Choir of the year and Director of the year for the Gospel Image Awards. The choir are currently nominated for six 2018 Rhythm of Gospel Awards, a 2018 Steeple Award, and a Kingdom Image Award.

Their new song “Exaltation” is the first single with WBMG, released in September 2017.
With the choir’s undeniable choral abilities and unforgettable style, they are the amongst the most exciting up and coming choirs of this generation. Scott is a powerful believer in ministry outside the walls of the church.
